Roger is very passionate when it comes to healthy living, wellness, safety and fitness and has maintained his lifesaving skills for a number of years. Good form, good technique and healthy living are what he strives to promote. Having had spinal surgery in 1999, he knows first hand the difficulties one must face when getting back into an active lifestyle. This has fueled him to help others to do the same, whether the goals are weight loss, toning, strength and athletic performance, or simply general health and wellness.
He is an A.C.E. (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer. He also holds certification in MFC (Manitoba Fitness Council), Resistance Training, Twist Conditioning - Sport Movement Level 1 and Bosu Ball. He also maintains his P.A.D.I. (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) as a certified Rescue Diver and Dive master.
Roger designs fitness programs for novice to advanced levels. He specializes in strength, agility, and balance training, and works with individual or team training in sport conditioning.
Roger has also taken courses and holds a certificate in East to West Yoga Exercise, Pilates Mat and has retained his First-Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator certificates for well over 15 years. Lastly, Roger enjoys a variety of activities from boxing, Pilates, and resistance training to SCUBA diving, biking, hiking, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.
